Clear the decks, the PCs are coming!

I have run two weekends now of my face to face Forgotten Realms game and there is nothing else planned until September. This leaves me free to concentrate on my pbp game.

The setting will be Waterdeep and the North. The rules will be mostly RMC with a few options thrown in from RM2 companions and the condensed combat system from the Combat Companion. The gaming platform will be www.rpol.net.

If you read this blog and are interested in being a player then drop me an email. I already have two players lined up.

You will be starting as a solo character to give you a chance to find you feet and if parties form then it will because they happened naturally. I am not going to force people together unnaturally.

I have most of my free time on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I would prefer a posting frequency of twice a week but if the character is alone or just in conversation then I will happily post more frequently. I am based in the UK so will be operating on GMT but I am generally online from 7am until 11pm most days.

Any questions then give me a shout.

  1. I would love to join in. It will be my first PB game and I would love to give it a go. I am strictly RM2. I’ve only held one RMC book in my hand and didn’t even get to look through it all that much. PC creation will be a little challenging for me on that end.

Do you have a list of allowed Professions?

    1. Hi Spectre,

You were one of the two players already lined up that I mentioned in the article. The other is Warl from the ICE forums.

I will start to get player resources sorted out soon including lists of allowed professions and skills etc.

  2. Hi, I have been reading your blog for a little while now, I also like the idea of using the Forgotten Realms and Rolemaster. It been a while since I did any gaming , family life just keep getting the way, maybe a pbp may be a good start.

I was part of a gaming club in the UK for many years, but well as I said life just got in the way. Rolemaster was the system of preference, it was never easy to find willing players.

If you would let me join in your game I hope that I could find some time away from life to spend on it.

Also don’t know if you know, but I think the link http://www.rpol.net is broken, seems to want to take me to http://www.tool.net.

    thanks

    Keith

    1. The link to rpol is fixed. I typed the post above on my tablet and I thik it autocorrected rpol to tool.

I haven’t been part of a club since I was at school but I did game at the Student Union in Bristol back in the 80s.

      Welcome aboard.
